Thread Module

I work in an area that was recently renovated and I lost my office. I'm now in a space with three walls but where the fourth would be is an open lobby-type area where two people answer phones all day and other employees often congregate to chat.  I use noise-canceling headphones but they can't block out people talking loudly and/or multiple people talking at once.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make my area more quiet and less public?  Many thanks in advance!
