When I have started my career as a transcriptionist, I did work for companies and even took freelance projects with low pay. This actually helped get more clients and eventually with my good work quality, I started getting better pay. So, if you're a beginner in transcription, you can start working for companies with less pay. This will give you experience and you can later on go for big companies that pay well in transcription.
